This is not a burger.
Well, it is. In the sense that it is a sandwich. There is visible surprise from patrons who order it for the first time, with Amazonian levels of rocket leaf foliage spewing from an oval bun that looks like the love-child of a dinner roll and French stick.
Truthfully we haven't really been back to Honest that much because it wasn't really our thing, so when we heard that they were bashing out a Yank-inspired special at the normally-houred central London branch we thought we'd mosey on down to their beef corral and give it a shot.
It's one of our favourite things, in one of our least favourite places.
Confusingly, the burgers here are buy-one-get-one-free. A single is a double. A double is a
triple. Keep that in mind because the single is easily enough meat.
This could easily be the start to a post about some new porkaterian cocktaileria in Dalston.
But it isn't.
